Vine Puff Braids - Fabric By The Yard

The Vine Puff Braids print takes inspiration from Vintage African hairstyles worn by Nigerian women and girls. Over 1000 elaborate, striking and sculptural braided styles were document by the acclaimed photographer, J.D. Okhai Ojeikere in 1968 and showcase the creativity and natural dynamics of hair as art. African hairstyle are an ephemeral art form of their own and this textile print celebrates just that.
